These past few weeks, I’ve worked incredibly hard on this special project for King’s Day — and what a rollercoaster it has been!

I had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people, and together we shared so much fun and laughter. From the organizers, fellow participants, and crew to the press, volunteers, and police — we experienced things that you likely only get to live through once in a lifetime.

Of course, there were some stressful challenges along the way: bad weather 🌧️, wear and tear on the painting 🚚, and last-minute changes to plans and schedules. But as a true ''Achterhoeker'', I rolled up my sleeves and pushed through.

I’m proud of the result — and the kind reactions I received warmed my heart. A huge thank you to Doetinchem and the Royal Family! I’m truly grateful for this unforgettable experience and for everyone who was a part of it.
